text piece/peace text: available for exhibition

text piece/peace text

This digital artwork was exhibited as part of the 2022 Digital Art Month Paris, which had a theme of NO WAR. It was shown at various public spaces in the centre of the city.

It presents a Sanskrit Hindu text, attributed to the deity Krishna, translated into English. The text is subjected to a series of digital moving image distortions, representing violence and aggression, until the text appears still and legible, revealing its statement relating to peace. Finally, there are two abstract images, a mandala-influenced resolution of enlightenment and harmony that is beyond words.

It is available for exhibition at no fee as an MP4 file: 1080 x 1920,  54 secs.

The message of text piece/peace text remains necessary and urgent. To include it in your exhibition programming, please contact me.
